ABOUT MENTORSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP

Mentorship aims at inspiring and motivating these children so that they may grow up with the right mindset and beliefs in the possibility of all things according to the riches of God's grace. They must know and believe that they could become anything they pray for, set their mind on and work towards it despite of their family background. In our mentorship sessions, we share stories of successful men and women, show them other people who have come from nothing to grace, discuss how they can remain focused and how to be successful outside class or school.

Fellowship is part of our child character building program. DCI has made it compulsory for every child under their care to learn the word of God, learn to pray and obey God. As children, it is right for them to be taught that in everything they are to become, on every path or journey in life, they shall be accountable to God the most High, and it is in his best interest to use their talents and abilities maximumly to their benefit and the benefit of others. The word of God is a word of life and wisdom that will give them knowledge, power and blessings in everything they shall do. So that as they have found grace and favor before God, they may also be kind to others. And above all, they may be disciples of Jesus and spread the good news in all their works.

The Great Commission

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.Go herefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.Amen
