DCI was founded in June 2024, it started with supporting seven children from poor background with tuition payment and catering for other academic requirements. From then, the foundation has registered progress in reaching out to many other children that wouldn’t have been in school without the foundation’s support. In a few months, we have gone from supporting seven (7) children to more than thirty (30) children. Some of these children had already dropped out of school because of lack of fees and all required facilitation. The foundation makes sure that they are able to have meals while at school and all academic requirements. DCI is dedicated to sponsoring them up until they graduate from university, training or technical institute.
DCI supports people with health or medical conditions and are not in position to pay for their medical bills. DCI personnel will carry out a background check on a patient and come up with the best approach to their medical or health condition that is with in our means. Again, our main focus is on children from poor backgrounds. DCI has a memorandum of understanding with few medical centers where some patients are forwarded or recommended and payment is done later. DCI is looking forward to developing a support system to improve the medical care of children from poor families so that they may have an equal opportunity to good treatment when sick, at a free or cheap expense.
Education alone does not guarantee a responsible and successful graduate but also the training and mentorship outside school contributes a lot to the aspirations and discipline of every student. DCI is built on biblical principles and God's purpose for all men to receive salvation and freedom. DCI builds a personal relationship with every child or student to understand their interests, strength and talents so that they are ably supported towards the calling upon their life.
